Sunday Hill

Lookouts
Three kilometres to the north of North West River, Sunday Hill offer the most spectacular view of Central Labrador that includes the Mealy Mountains and Lake Melville to the east and Grand Lake to the west. There are two routes to the top viewing decks. One referred to as the "Senior's Walking Path" and one as the "Steep Staircase". The site was once an island camp spot for Labrador's indigenous peoples, some 3000 years ago.
