The complex is home to the Edmund Montague Exhibit Hall which has on display many artifacts representing the best of Labrador West and the entire Labrador region - its history, culture and people. As well, the hall showcases the stellar fur trading and mining history of Labrador. As Labrador West is the only gateway to Labrador by road, rail, and air, this facility provides a much-needed venue for tourists to discover the bold history of Western Labrador and elsewhere in our vast region.
Situated at 1365 Route 500 in Labrador City, this beautiful log structure also houses the Labrador West Heritage Shop, Labrador West Tourism Corporation, and Labrador Wilderness Connections. This set-up offers a mode of one stop shopping so that both residents and non-residents can avail of the heritage, recreation, and culture which Labrador West has to offer.
